Karate Competitions

For students who want to test their skills, LA Karate supports competition in both kata (forms) and kumite (sparring) divisions at tournaments across Southern California. Competing is always optional — many of our students train purely for personal growth.

How We Prepare You

• Extra training sessions focused on tournament kata and sparring strategy
• Mock tournaments in the dojo so the real thing feels familiar
• Coaching and corner support on tournament day
• Guidance for both kids and adult competitors, beginners to advanced
